Therapy Services offered

 for Florida, Virginia, Rhode Island

and international residents

Free 20-minute phone consultation

Therapy needs to be a place where you will be comfortable. Research tells us that it's the relationship between the client and the therapist that is one of the most important parts of therapy. Not the modality. That is why I believe it is so important for you to meet me before the session.  And while 20 minutes isn't enough time to figure out if we will be a "good fit", it will give us enough information to at least get started. And if either of us feels that we aren't a good fit within the first few sessions, then I am happy to help you find a referral to someone who is better suited to help you.

Neurodiverse Affirming Consultation - Here are the questions I ask in the consultation, so you can think about them ahead of time. Please feel free to bring any questions that you may have about the services I offer.

  • What brings you to therapy/assessment?

  • Do you have a history of mental health diagnosis?

  • What basic goals do you have for therapy/assessment?

Here are examples of questions that other clients have asked in past consultations:

  • Since I don't take insurance, how do superbills work?
  • What does a therapy session typically look like with me?

  • Can my lizard come to the therapy session? (answer was ABSOLUTELY!)

  • How do I know so much about autism?

  • What was your favorite training/CE done this year?

  • How do you think your skills as a therapist can help me?

Individual therapy session: 50 minutes

Fee: $190

This is where the actual therapy takes place.  This is your time.  Time to work on your goals. Time to process difficult life changes or navigate a difficult diagnosis. We will work together to develop coping strategies to manage depression, anxiety, pain, anger, and autistic burnout.  I will provide guidance and expertise in helping you create and navigate new goals.

Neurodiverse Affirming Therapy Session

  • Bring an agenda to the session that keeps us on track so you don't forget an item, that also makes topic transition seamless - less awkward

  • Stim. Please. Move your body as you need to. Just set the computer/phone/tablet down so I don't get sick - thanks!

  • Don't like eye contact? Don't do it.

  • Masking and feel like you are masking to please me? Let's talk about it.

  • Not feeling well and need to lie down for your session, please do, and grab your favorite soft blanket.

  • All animals are always welcome at all times.

  • Communication differences: Let's communicate about it. How can I meet those needs?

  • Don't want to have your camera on today? We can turn them off and rest our eyes, or switch to the phone for the session.

  • You always have consent over everything: your treatment, decisions, goals, etc. Your autonomy is important to me.

  • You are the expert on you

  • And many more...

At this time, I am out of network and do not work directly with insurance companies. I can give clients a "superbill" at the end of each month, at their request, detailing diagnostic and billing codes that can be used for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to find out what your out-of-network benefits are beforehand.

Limited reduced fee sessions are available upon request. Edit July 2025: All reduced fee sessions are full at this time.
